This is my end-of-the-year blog post listing places I've visited in 2022 for at least one night, in chronological order. At times, the reason for the trip is listed:

  • Piacenza (Italy) -- where I live
  • Verona (Italy)
  • Frankfurt, Germany
  • Courmayeur Mont Blanc, Aosta (Italy)
  • Pisa (Italy)
  • Lecco (Italy)
  • New York, NY (USA)
  • Washington d.C. (USA)
  • San Francisco, CA (USA)
  • Santa Cruz, CA (USA)
  • Anaheim, CA (USA)
  • Marina di Pisa, Pisa (Italy), visiting Lucca Comics
  • Dusseldorf (Germany) -- EKON conference
  • Genoa (Italy)
  • Florence (Italy)

This is slowly getting back to normal, after the pandemic. As you can see, I took a fairly long trip to the US, that was family vacation (not work related). Some trips were to Lego events, work travel is still fairly low, and I don't think it will be "travel-as-usual" for quite some time, if ever, with so many conferences permanently moved to be online.

In any case, I wish you all a happy and safe 2023.
