In less than a month I'll be speaking at Delphi Live! , the first Delphi conference in the US after a few years, and I'm really looking forward to this event. The conference will be held in San Jose, California, May 14th and 15th, with pre- and post- conference tutorials on the 13th and 16th. There will be a good number of high-quality speakers presenting on Delphi Win32 (good ol' classic Delphi), Delphi Prism, and Delphi for PHP.
I'll be giving a full-day pre-conference tutorial on May 13th, covering Multi-Threaded Programming in Delphi with Cary Jensen, extending on the session we gave at our Delphi Developer Days training class. I'm also scheduled to give three sessions at the regular conference:
- 10 Rest Clients in Delphi, covering Google clients (Maps, Spreadsheet, Provisioning), Twitter clients, and several others.
- Fun Side of Delphi 2009 Edition, will be an extension of the session given at CodeRage, but this is a session that really works only in front of a live audience, so it will be a fun night school session
- Unicode and Delphi 2009, is a tech topic tied to the latest release of the product.
I hope to see many attendees, as this will be a community gathering, beside a conference. There will also be many independent speakers I know and haven't met for some time, and several CodeGear speakers. But it won't be a social gathering only, as I hope to learn a lot about current and future Delphi technologies. It will be fun (...and I hope to have my flight booked in a day or two).
PS. If I'm not wrong, today is the last day for the early bird, at 599 US Dollars for the 2-day conference!
