The online class I was supposed to give next week for CodeGear is being rescheduled.
This is mainly due to lack of attendees. I'd like to hear from those who considered signing up and decided not to, which is the primary reason. I can understand a limited trust in the quality of an online class, the very close date with the CodeRage free event, the cost (which doesn't seem high, though), a bad choice of topics... but where these reasons not to sign up? Was it something else? I'm looking for input, so we can decide if and how to reschedule the event.

Rescheduling the CodeGear Online Training
Mostly things are to generic, I already know how to
use the onclick event handler of a tButton. I would
need more specialized courses, and at the time I
could to actually use them in real life. So I need a
book :-) For 99 USD I can buy 2 books...

I was very interested, and looked at them a couple of
times hoping some additional information would be
posted but the Borland/Codegear sales site was 1)
terribly confusing (I never could figure out how to
order anything except the first course, but maybe it
was just me) and 2) there wasn't any detailed
information on what the courses offered so I couldn't
decide which one(s) I needed. The price was great, no
complaints there.

The price is not really an issue for me. I'm actively
looking for courses advanced enough which could
actually help me improve my skills and give me some
things to think about.
I know the basic and intermediate stuff, what *I* need
and can't find is advanced/guru material. How to
design and structure a medium/large app, how to design
to handle changing requirements, etc.
Oh, and I want it all for Win32, of course ;)

I personally would prefer a recording, available for
download or on CD, anyway something I can watch at a
time and place of my convenience.
Also, I understand the price was/is 99 USD for each
two-hour session, so very reasonable for a live
presentation, but a bit high for the kind of "multi-
media book" I'd feel the need of.

Rescheduling the CodeGear Online Training
Yeah i will attend
Is it the class request form that i need to fill
out. What does 'class request' mean? Does it mean i
want to book a room for a group of students i get
together for you? I dont think so. Make the website
more simpler to understand and i think you will get
more customers from all walks of life. The website
and website words should be simpler because you see
i dont even know where to sign up.
