The current year looks a strange one, as I'll miss some of the few Delphi conferences out there, but will do more training around the world.
In particular, it is very likely I won't be at Delphi Live (currently scheduled for the end of August, form what I've been told) in the US, not at EKON in Germany in the fall. I'll probably submit to the SDN conference in the Netherlands in the fall, but it is too early to tell if they'll accept my sessions. I've been invited to speak to the ITDevCon conference, an Italian/European Delphi conference that started last year. Finally, in September I should get to a Delphi user groups in Denmark and might take part to a user group event in Germany.
One of the reason for cutting some of the speaking engagements is that I'm really focused on the Delphi Developer Days event done with Cary Jensen and coming along in May (and which are discounted for one more week only). I find the smaller setting, the group interaction, the possibility of follow up consulting, more interesting than hit.and-go conference appearances. Having gone for 5 cities (Washington, Chicago, Los Angeles, London, Frankfurt) this will take me a lot of time away from family and other business... but looks well worth.
So, in other words, if you want to get Delphi training from myself, your best option is to come to one of the events I'm setting up with Cary or hit one of the (fewer) conferences and user groups events I plan visiting. This doesn't mean I'm not open to more proposals, both in terms of public speaking and onsite training and consulting for companies.
