Next November, the city of Verona (Italy) will see the second edition of ITDevCon, a two days Delphi conference with top speakers from all over the world. With most tracks in English, it is truly the European Delphi Conference.
ITDevCon is planned for November 18th and 19th and is organized by Bittime Soffware, the local partner of Embarcadero Technologies. The conference is likely to repeat last year success (it was very nice, particularly for a first timer), with even more international speakers. As you can see in the conference program speaker include myself, Cary Jensen, Ray Konopka, Jose Leon Serna (of Delphi for PHP fame), my coworker Paolo Rossi, Daniele Teti and others from Bittime, Primoz Gabrijelcic, Bruno Fierens, Thierry Laborde, and others. With three tracks in parallel and a lot of sessions in English, there should be enough for most Delphi developers out there.
Verona , famous for Romeo and Juliette and for its standing and actively used Roman theater (the "Arena"), is easy to reach by car and train from Munich through the Brenner pass. Even if its airport is quite small, you can fly to nearby BGY, which hosts RyanAir and many other low-cost companies, or go for Venice and add a weekend there.
The full price, if you book early, is 499 Euros for the two dayb, all included. If you are interested you can buy it also through my company, as a conference partner. If you live in Italy you can use this page of the Italian online shop, if not use the English version (and proper VAT options) see this page. For the Italian developer, there will also be a day devoted to phones development (both iPhone and Android) before the conference, and I'm also helping Sybase to set up an event on Advantage Database Server.
PS. A disclaimer: Beside speaking at the conference and being a friend of the organizers, I run (free) ads on this site and resell the event. I would have blogged about it anyway (as I blog about most conference I speak at), but just to make sure this is fully clear.
