Handbook Note 98/113: InstallAware and dbExpress

Note 98 of 113 of Delphi 2007 Handbook

Note 98: CodeGear changed the location of the dbExpress INI files after InstallAware Express was finalized. A free patch for Express users is available at the address http://www.installaware.com/codegear-express-patch.asp.

This is a comment to the fact that while including dbExpress in an installation, the installer might stop with the error (as it looks in the wrong folder):

Error during build: No files matching pattern "C:\Program Files\CodeGear\RAD Studio\5.0||dbExpress\*.ini"

 Hmmm.  The download described below does not  work
with  with Delphi 2007 for Windows32 with update 3.

"InstallAware CodeGear Express Edition Hotfix could
not locate your dbExpress folder.  Please make sure a
CodeGear Windows language product is installed on your
system. InstallAware CodeGear Express Hotfix cannot
continue."
