Note 31: This is quite an odd process in my opinion: Letting a user pick a configuration for a given project from its own shortcut menu without opening the Configuration Manager would have been better in my opinion.

Page 72 covers the Build Configuration Manager (new in Delphi 2007), that lets you pick a build configuration (Debug, Release, anything else) for the following compile/build operations. Don't take me wrong: having multiple configuration settings is one of the new features I like best. It is only its UI that I don't particularly like.
