Note 27: Unfortunately, there is no way to customize the string name prefix, such as using lowercase “str”, which I’d like better.
This is a comment on the Extract to Resource String refactoring, at page 51. Actually the same could be said of the default naming rules for components you add to the designers or for dbExpress components you create by dragging tables and connections from the Data Explorer to the designers. For sure features and options creep can be bad, but having to rename each and every resource string and component doesn't seems a good alternative to me. Did I ever talk about my Name property editor in this blog? I doubt.
