Microsoft document on misunderstood features of Vista is back online, with a few changes... but the substance remains. There is a flow of interesting comments in many blogs:
I'll refrain from commenting any further. The core idea that Vista is perfect and users (and developers) are dumb and cannot make the best of it remains, although some of the "not-so-technical" descriptions of why Vista looks slower than XP but is indeed faster have been removed or "improved".

Five Misunderstood... is Back Online
Originally, viruses were a nuisance. Some were
malignant. But with common-sense and some help from
scanner software one could keep things clean.
Now it seems the cure consumes more human and
computing resources than the "illness" did.
Unfortunately, chucking out the clunk and simply
practicing intelligent safe computing is no longer an
option. Paradoxically, you still have to be
intelligent enough to navigate Microsoft's maze.
I just pray Linux goes mainstream before I die.
