Delphi XE4 Update 1

A significant update to XE4, correcting a number of bugs or offering several improvements, is now available.

A significant update to XE4, correcting a number of bugs or offering several improvements, is now available. Download for registered users of XE4 is at cc.embarcadero.com/item/29446 and the release notes are available on the docwiki at Release_Notes_for_XE4_Update_1.

Notice, this is not a new install, but an actual patch, even if it is a 336 MB download. As an alternative, you can download the new ISO image of the DVD and make a full uninstall/reinstall (it takes about the same amount of time). In both cases, you'll have to (manually) update the PAServer application on your Mac.

I can't get it to run.

If I have the Modify option selected on the Setup screen and click the 
[Continue] button, it just keeps popping up a little dialog box that says, 
"Invalid Serial Number". Clicking [OK] closes it and it immediately 
reappears.  I have to kill the process to get it to stop.

Marco is a off-topy question, you know if EMB have make 
any improve to Datasnap in next releases?like 
performance or change the indy core to another 
implementation?

Patches are greatly preferred over uinstall/reinstall
updates. Nice work.

Delphi XE4 Update 1

There was the problem with the Update 1 installed as a patch in 
compiling the release version of an iOS project. The workaround (a patch 
in some file dates) is now explained in a support article linked below 
(http://support.embarcadero.com/article/43250)
