Last Saturday I was at the Delphi Tage in Heidelberg, Germany. Very nice event, as usual. We spend the evening before drinking beer and chatting at a local "Boat House", and the day of the event in a memorable conference room, a sphere within a large and moderm building. Of course, I guess you'd be more interested in the content of the event, than its location.

While somewhat tied to the XE3 World Tour the Delphi Tage is an event in its own, a joint meeting of the German Delphi user groups, and had the product keynotes (one in English with a "great" German translation and one directly in German) followed by 3 parallel tracks with community and invited speakers, like myself and a few others. Information about the event is still at http://www.delphitage.de. Beside the rather standard information, the keynotes (with David I) included a short live demo of the coming Mobile Studio for Delphi, with a sample application completely build in Delphi and running in the iOS Simulator on a Mac (picture from Delphi-treff page):

I gave a session on "FireMonkey Evolution", aka FM2, including coverage of Metropolis and Windows 8, and even some on the LiveTile component, given I was involved in its development. Below a picture of mine, again from the collection linked below:

You can find pictures of myself speaking on my Facebook wall http://www.facebook.com/marcocantu. Many more pictures are at this link, including the two above):  http://www.delphi-treff.de/ueber-delphi/veranstaltungen/delphi-tage-2012-in-heidelberg/

There are some pictures I took (including the venue architecture) below:
