My latest book, Delphi 2009 Handbook, is a 400-pages volume focused exclusively on new features of the lastest version of Delphi. The book has been around for a few months: the electronice version is free to registered users of the product, on the Delphi registered users page of the CodeGear  web site, and as a print-on demand book on Lulu.com.

Starting today, the same book is now available also from CreateSpace, a print-on-demand subsidiary of Amazon. This means you can buy it directly on Amazon, like any traditional printed book. The ASIN (Amazon Store Identification Number) to look for is its ISBN number, 1440480095. Being sold directly by Amazon (and not on third party markets) implies you can take advantage of the company low shipping costs their customer support. You can also buy it along with any other book available on Amazon. And if you live in the US can you take advatnage of their Super Shipping offer.

Notice that the book technically was already available on Amazon from Lulu's shop, but at a higher price and still shipped by Lulu. You can find it as B00262OUS8. I'm not sure about my future books, but right now I prefer CreateSpace over Lulu, for myseolf anf for my customers (there were many complaints because of Lulu shipping rates, on this blog).

I also find the CreateSpace company location quite interesting: "100 Enterprise Way, Scotts Valley, CA 95066". There could be no better company qualified to print a book about Delphi, which is created in the same building!
