Second day at CodeRage6 with more sessions, replays, links, my source code and some interesting offers (including my ebook).

Today's Sessions

I had two more sessions at the online CodeRage6 conference today, covering REST servers (with jQuery clients) and REST clients against Azure, AWS, and Google. Both were well attended and I had many questions. I didn't attend many other sessions, got some Q&A on 64 bit, a bit of Cary's sessions, and I'm now online with the IntraWeb sessions. Web development was clearly the focus today!

Replays and Links

Differently from past editions, The replays of the sessions are uploaded right away. There is a list of yesterday sessions replays on David I's blog. Another psot has a collection of CodeRage6 links. I also suggest you to stay tuned on Twitter's #CodeRage6 tag.

My Demos

I've uploaded (on DropBox, which in turns in based on Amazon S3) the demos for my sessions yesterday and today. Here are the links to the ZIP files

Tomorrow I'll have a further "Tips and Tricks" session with Cary Jensen, but he's preparing the download.

Delphi Developer Days

Make sure you visit the Exhibi Hall of the virtual conference for offers and deals. Two of these involve myself. The first is an early announcement of Delphi Developer Days 2012, with Cary Jensen. We'll talk about this tomorrow, but if you visit http://www.delphideveloperdays.com/coderage6/ you'll see it. In essence, there is a tentative schedule with these locations:

  • End of March, USA, in Washington DC/Baltimore and Chiacago, two locations we've been to in the past. We are evaluating a third US city, if you have idea and a group of friends willing to attend, let us know.
  • Mid April, Europe, Frankfurt and Amsterdam, like we did last year. Again, we are looking to adding one or two more stops. Maybe London, maybe Paris, maybe Eastern Europe, maybe Dubai or another middle-east location.
  • We are open to further suggestions and ideas, but we need a good sized group to consider a location.

Get into our notification list (Notify me links, in that page) to take advantage of Early Bird discounts when the schedule is finalized.

Discount on my Book

A direct offer you might watn to take advantage of right away is a 12 dollars discount on my "Delphi Handbooks Collection", 2nd edition. Again visit the exhibit hall of jump directly the conference offers page at http://www.wintech-italia.com/conferences/coderage6.htm. The discount is valid only until the conference runs. And you might even get "tweeted" by me if you buy!

More is coming at CodeRage 6 (still 3 days to go and lots of interesting session). Tomorrow there is more FireMonkey, a couple of nice sessions by Nick Hodges, my sessions with Cary, and more by Kim McKeeth. Will be another busy day at CodeRage6.
