Embarcadero's online conference, CodeRage 4, is the first of a series of conferences I'm going to speak at.

CodeRage 4 will take place online, so you can attend from your PC anywhere in the world, on September 8th-11th. Info and free registration at conferences.embarcadero.com/coderage. This conference will see many Delphi R&D members speaking on some of the new features of Delphi 2010, so this is really worth attending (and you must register to attend). At this event I'm goign to speak on more classic topics:

  • Multi-threading in Delphi (an introduction, touching on some recent changes in the TThread calss like the use of anonymous methods)
  • 10 Rest clients in Delphi (coverign how to interact with Google services, Twitter, and other)
  • Domain Specific Languages in Delphi (a very unusual presentation I like)

I'll blog more about this event, providing also a report of the most interesting talks on this blog. I'll also have a booth in the exhibit area.

Fall Conferences

  • EKON 13  (German page) doubles as Delphi Live Germany (English page) will be at Darmstadt, near Frankfurt, from September 28th to October 2nd. I'm scheduled to speak on Creating Windows 7 Applications with Delphi, Multitier with DataSnap, and Towards a Delphi REST Framework.
  • SDN Conference at Arnhem (Netherlands), on October 19 and 20th. I'm goign to talk about Domain Specific Languages in Delphi, Multithreding in Delphi, and Creating Windows 7 applications with Delphi.
  • IT Dev Con in Verona (Italy), on November 11th and 12th, is a brand new conference that will have tracks in Italian but also in English. Still don't know what I'm going to cover, but I'm quite sure I'll be around.

Well, this is quite a busy schedule, considering all these events are quite close one to the other, but the "face-to-face" conferences are all in Europe, probably within 1,000 km from where I live.
