The CodeRage 2007 virtual online conference continues. Yesterday I followed the AJAX in IntraWeb talk (was hoping for more, but I liked what I saw), the second half of the Web Services talk (in which I raised the "why not REST?" question), and the talk on the new help system (which touched also on users collaboration and other related issues).
Today I got a little be of the Ruby on Rails introduction (but audio quality was poor), and I just finished listening to the MSBuild talk. Again, lot of details on the new Delphi 2007.
Yesterday, I was somewhat active in the chat area, particularly during the web services talk. Beside asking question to speakers, I got involved in a couple of interesting discussions with other developers. Got also some follow-up emails (to which I still have to respond, sorry). Nothing comparable to a live conference, but an interesting chance to chat about Delphi and its technologies. Tonight, time permitting, I'll plan getting to the virtual exhibit reception, to say "hi" to a few friends there.
BTW, I've now figured out why there were no comments for past coderage posts. The # in the title prevented the javascript code that opens the postback window to work properly... We'll have to fix it, for now I changed the title.
