Amazon has a strange idea of the world map... shipping from US to Europe through the Pacific. At least it seems. Yesterday, my post office warned me of a package coming from New Zealand. Odd, I thought. I've not ordered anything from there... would it be a present from somewhere local?
It turns out it was an Amazon box. From Amazon US. Apparently shipped from Phoenix (it is in the label underneath, barely visible). It was shipped by DHL (slow, with no tracking), so maybe Amazon is not involved after all. Still the Auckland air mail label looks real... or is it only they fake the sender to get a better deal somewhat? Calling it "direct" is also quite fun... If you ahve a clue about the route my box followed, I'm interested!
Anyway, the books were expected on February 2nd, so they got here quite fast. Here are the pacakge labels. Now I hope to have time tomight to look at the actual books...
