According to the event web site, https://pascalcongress.com/, the goal of this unique event is to promote the Pascal language ecosystem:
The International Pascal Congress (IPC) is an international forum dedicated to bringing together the different players in the software industry whose technologies are based on the Pascal family of programming languages. The IPC 2023 will be held from 3 to 7 July 2023, hosted by the University of Salamanca in Spain, and it will be a stunning and forward-looking reflection on the Pascal family of languages in the software industry. The official language of the IPC 2023 will be English.
From plenary talks to in depth courses, from roundtables on key concepts, from social activities to scientific sessions, from presentations of open source projects to commercial ones, this full week event will see a large variety of activities with one element in common: Pascal programming.
Announced keynote speakers will including myself, Bruno Fierens, Daniele Teti, Primoz Gabrijelcic, Michalis Kamburelis, Detlef Overbeek, and Dr. Johannes W. Dietrich. Many other speakers will be involved in courses and technical sessions, and also product and projects presentations.
I'm certain this will be very nice week, with a lot of fellow Delphi and Pascal experts, and I'm looking forward for it. It's important to promote Object Pascal at large, and it's great that Embarcadero decided to sponsor this event.
