Yesterday Embarcadero publicly released version 11.2 of RAD Studio, C++Builder and, of course, Delphi. This is the second update of Delphi 11 Alexandria.
September 7th was not only the day of the preview webinar, but also the day of the release of RAD Studio 11.2 Alexandria.
In short the big new features for Delphi are the support for the iOS Simulator on ARM64 Macs and the IDE improvements around Markdown, HTML, the XSLT-based Help Insight, the disabled view of IFDEFed out code, and many more IDE small, nice features.

Delphi 11.2 Release Yesterday
I'm pretty sure the disabled view of IFDEFed out code was already in
previous versions? (although it did not always work)
Also you have an 11.1 typo in the first line

Delphi 11.2 Release Yesterday
Thanks, I fixed the type. Showing IFDEF code disabled might have
been possible already with third party IDE plugins, but not in the
product with no extensions.

Is there an option to adjust the transparency value of the disabled code? As it is now I find it to be too pale.

Dear Mr. Cantu
Your book on Delphi (10.4) is fully descriptive, definitive and informative. But it is not enough. As a programming learning book it should also be exercise-based, problem-solving-based. It should assign projects to students.

Delphi 11.2 Release Yesterday
Another great release - very happy with focus on fixes and (developer) quality of life improvements.
Few suggestions
1. Can we have an updated install/upgrade docwiki with each release .
Current one is a great example of something with lot of info not being practically useful.
Specific items our team ran into
- there is no mention we can find of migration tool (in Alexadnria install/upgrade docs)
- Installer still loses path settings for most platforms when upgrading !?
- One must uninstall embaracero ide plugins - i.e. parnassus bookmarks - as it will crash installer when upgrading from 11.1.
2. As a more general request would really like to see installer fixed so it's 100% automatic experience when doing 11.1->11.2 upgrades
Thanks

Delphi 11.2 Release Yesterday
Dear Marco,
I've just installed Delphi 11.2 and like it so far!
However, I'm having a hard time (my fault probably) finding
information on the MacOS versions I can target with Delphi 11.2.
I have no problems with Monterey, but on Catalina my executable
does not run. Is there a way to target MacOS 10.15?
Best regards,
David

Delphi 11.2 Release Yesterday
We have just bought version 11.0 (upgraded to 11.1).
11.2 isn´t in GetIt for upgrade.
Can I download and tread down the 11.1 with 11.2 version without
lose anything?
The 11.2 recognizes licence from 11.0 or 11.1?
How can I do it? install the trial?
