Hi Marco,
What about RSP-21178? This is a show stopper for me. I am stuck on
RAD Studio 10.2 and have been unable to use RAD Studio 10.4,
because of this issue.
Please will you try to fast-track resolution of this issue?

Hey wait ! RSP-29747 is in the 10.4.1 fixed list but not marked as
solved in Quality central ?
If this is solved I'll have to install 10.4.1 ASAP !

Chris,
odd it is in the fix list, anyway it has been fixed but hasn't been fully
verified internally -- the reason it is not closed in QP

Hello,
When updated roadmap for 20/21 ?

A much needed update after the initial 10.4 flop
(which should have never been released as RTM).
The IDE is decently stable and does not hang every
couple of minute or hog the CPU. I hope the dev
teams continue to deliver more stability and quality
updates rather than half cooked features.
And please either ditch those fancy IDE styles or
make them work correctly. I can see some
improvements but I'd rather prefer those to stay out
of the IDE as they are harming the user experience.
Also please integrate as many fixes as possible from IDEFixPack
IDEFixPack.
Anyways, way to go on this one, keep it up.
K.

It would seem that the IDE stability has been achieved by dint of
throwing away a lot of functionality. "The floating form designer
has been removed." "floating layouts, no longer supported" (as an
aside).
I have used Delphi undocked for years, this has destroyed my way
of working overnight.
It is madness to make the form designer fit in the same frame as
the code. The frame sizes have no relation.
Can I have a designer for a form open at the same time as the
editor? It would seem that opening the second editor on the same
form/code closes the original, is there a way to do it?

Hi
any roadmap for improving the Delphi language? I would love more

I guess we will be on 10.3.3 forever!
Removal of floating form designer is a show stopper!

Wow, the removal of the floating IDE makes the whole thing so
difficult to efficiently use. Instead of fixing the problems with it in
10.4, just removing it altogether was sort of the lazy approach to
fixing the issues. The whole theme of looking like Visual Studio is
horrible for productivity. I've been using Delphi since 3.2 and tried
the undocked version and it was hard to deal with and still be
productive. Removing it altogether was a really bad design choice.
I'm kind of starting to wonder why I'm still using Delphi at this
point since it's practically a dead language anyways. Not sure why
I'm continuing to throw thousands of dollars at this every year
either.
