Embarcadero has announced the release of Delphi, C++Builder and RAD Studio 10.4.2.
With new features and much improved quality, the new release builds on the work done in 10.4 Sydney and the 10.4.1 quality release.
I'm very happy with the work our team did for 10.4.2 and I'm certain you’ll equally enjoy using it.

Embarcadero has Released Delphi 10.4.2 Sydney
The page tiltle of https://www.embarcadero.com/products/rad-studio/whats-new-in-10-4-sydney is incorrect.
Maybe "What's New in RAD Studio 10.4.2 Sydney - Embarcadero" instead of "What's New in RAD Studio 10.4.1 Sydney - Embarcadero".
Thanks.

The What's New lists improvements for developers using the IDE via
Remote Desktop but doesn't give any specifics. I do a lot of my work
via Remote Desktop, is there something I need to aware of or enable,
or will the IDE just be a bit snappier over Remote Desktop?

Marco,
So glad that the features and speed of the Beta made it through to
the final product. Absolutely brilliant. The hard work of the team
at Embarcadero is showcased so well, plus a few extras as well.
Now we just need some reference of some sort on UI guidance
and hints and tips. Andrea Magni's book is great, but how do you
translate the master design to the various different formats of app
sized interfaces for mobiles and tablets is still a confounding
mystery.
That aside, god bless the Embarcadero team for an absolutely
brilliant product!

Embarcadero has Released Delphi 10.4.2 Sydney
General question: I'd like to have a tool that reads a Swagger spec
from a REST portal and generates Delphi interface code and classes
needed to interact with the API. As far as I know, none exist,
including in 10.4.2.
There are at least a half-dozen for C#/.NET and at least one for
almost any other language I've looked for, but none for Delphi. This
seems like a big missing, and I don't know why it's not available out
of the box with Delphi.
Do you know of any that exist? If not, are there any plans to create
one and add it into a future Delphi release?
The fact that there's nothing available tells me that people who use
REST APIs with Delphi generate the REST interfaces and the classes
they need entirely by hand. Or am I missing something obvious?

Each time I make a change in a program I get
[dcc32 Fatal Error] F2084 Internal Error: AV09853340(09830000)-R00000018-0
and have to close the IDE.
Any solution?
Thanks.

...and they still have not fixed the biggest bug introduced recently.
The ability to have floating form designers.
Seriously, the ability to have code on a separate screen is
BACKWARDS and useless. You need the form on the other screen
where the space is. Surely this is obvious!
The biggest productivity killers are annoyances and f..ing SCROLL
BARS! For the universes sake please FIX THIS!

Congratulations! Finally Delphi IDE seems to have arrived at a
state that makes working with Delphi real fun again. As a long
term customer on enterprise maintenande I was very very
disappointed with the last releases before. The promising LSP
changes before 10.4.2 did not keep their promis and I often did
not even try to use code completion to avoid frustration.
I am happy now and have the feeling that my productivity has
increased quite a bit (what also may be related to the good
weather currently).

After many hours I think I've found the reason. I build programs with runtime packages. If I disable that option the error doesn't happen. Something is screwed because if inside that option I click in ... to see available packages I don't see any runtime package in the list.
However if I try to compile without making any change at all it works???

Is there a reason why sqlite3.dll was not updated to a
later version and is still 3.31.1
