A RAD Studio roadmap for 2014 and beyond is available on the Embarcadero web site.
A RAD Studio roadmap for 2014 and beyond is available on the Embarcadero web site, in case you missed the announcement. Not that I want to add much, if not that we expect updating it more frequently and that not everything is set in stone. Also, the roadmap highlights the key features: There is much more we are working on right now that is not listed.
The official document is at
edn.embarcadero.com/article/43677
There are already discussions in the forum, on Google+, and elsewhere.

Delphi and CBuilder Roadmap
Hi Marco, can you please elaborate this?
•Several run time library (RTL) improvements,
implemented for all platforms and involving areas
like XML processing, JSON processing, among others

I had mentioned that there was no sign of 'Android on
Intel' but I guess I was expecting it in 2014. I see
it's in the list for 'After 2014'.

Dear Marco,
Where is the BiDi support for FireMonkey desktop and
mobile?
I think it could be on "Several run time library (RTL)
improvements, implemented for all platforms and
involving areas like XML processing, JSON processing,
among others" section. Is it correct?
Your Sincerely

Marco,
Good news.
Please add BiDi support to FMX. We are looking
forward to porting our Arabic systems to iOS using
FMX.

Several "lesser" features (but very important for some customers) are not
listed on purpose.
Bidi support for FMX is being considered. Not simple, so no promise in
terms of a time frame.
Android Intel support with or without libHoudini is being considered as
well. See my recent post from MWC 2014 conference.

I am blown away that they could do half of this list.
I am REALLY grateful that DataSnap is being so greatly
enhanced. I just wish I knew what the enhancements
will be and when they will arrive. The sooner the better.

Right now FireMonkey controls lack any property for
supporting BiDi text and right-to-left languages. Please
add BiDi support for android and IOS.

When Embarcadero begin to meet the needs of its

I think without firemonkey recognizing the
RightToLeft languages, Delphi will not have a good
reason for many to use it for mobile, even for western
companies if they don't release their application in
RTL language, at least they need their users to be
able to use their application.

Pablo, we do check most voted QC bugs fairly regularly, but that doesn't
mean we should take all those proposals as they are. For 1, for example,
we have a different idea in mind and the need for that feature sill has to
be proven. For 2, the complexity is extremely high, and the current
version rollback is a solution , even if not ideal. 3 is very nice to have, but
in percentage, only a fraction of our users seem to care about it...
While QC is a relevant source of requirements, we do have many others
that do come from our customers.

3. WS-Security is very important when you create
solutions for polity or goverment. All major
programming languages (Java, C#, C++,...) have
solutions that support WS-Security. Many customers
need it. For this reason, we began to move us projects
from Delphi to C#.
