There are two new hotfixes for Delphi and C++Builder XE7, XE6, and one also for XE5.
There are two hotfixes for different versions of RAD Studio that have been released over the last few days. All of these fixes are listed in the registered users download page at cc.embarcadero.com/myreg (notice they are sorted by version first, and date next).
Bitmap Buffer Overflow
This issue was already fixed about a month ago, but the new fix is more comprehensive and covers other corner cases. This is an important fix as it makes VCL applications vulnerable to attacks:
The fix will also be included in a future XE7 update 1, of course. For older versions, manual steps are available in the support site at support.embarcadero.com/article/44015.
PAServer Issues with Simulator
This fix relates with issues with the new iOS 8 simulator, and allows you (as a temporary work around) to use the iOS 7.1 simulator:
The readme with some information is available at www.fmxexpress.com/xcode-6-ios-7-1-simulator-hotfix-for-delphi-xe6-firemonkey-paserver/

RAS Studio Hotfixes for BMP Buffer Overflow and PAServer
Hi Marco, I know this is a little bit off-topic, but it's something urgent to
fix. As you probably know, since Sep. 20 the IOS App store introduced
some new automatic checks on submitted apps, which practically prevent
the submission of apps written with Delphi or C++Builder. In particular,
it reports the following error : "ERROR ITMS-9000: "Invalid Segment
Alignment."
I sincerely hope that someone at Emb is actively working on the issue,
because otherwise we can simply delete IOS from the list of the platforms
we can write apps for.

John, we are indeed working on offering full support for the iOS 8
simulator, but Apple changed the game with little notice, and so
that is taking a little time. The fix serves as a temporary solution.
Fulvio, yes, we have developers working on this since Sept 20 (no,
Apple didn't tell in advance this was a new requirement). They
require a newer LLVM linker than the version we use. As a
workaround it might be possible to use the Xcode linker, we are
making some experiments with that while we work for the real
solution.
Hope to have updates real soon for both issues.

Hi marco,
I'm just want to suggest you that Embt should be
more communicative regarding this major issue. In
this forum
https://forums.embarcadero.com/message.jspa?
messageID=670797 some developer willing to wait,
but some of them have a deliverable contract to the
client that is highly important for them, so i
think this is a big issue and i still can't find
any official announcement on Embt site, while other
tool already fixed them within a week.
Of course i need information regarding when the
fixed will be out, but most important is that you
should announce to your user about the issue and do
tell us that you are working hard for it. Maybe the
linker breaking change on apple need a lot of
effort to fixed it in delphi, but if you tell us,
we can be more sure about your support for your
customer
This is one of the bad marketing approach you still
can't changes. Please be more communicative to your
user. Hope you can understand what i'm saying.
Thanks,
Iwan

I have no problem whatsoever deploying iOS applications built with
Delphi XE6 to the iOS 7.1 simulator running in Xcode 5.1.1
I'm guessing this PAServer hotfix is for the iOS 7.1 simulator running in
Xcode 6. You might want to be more specific about this.
