Like I did last year, a way to summarize my 2007 is to provide a list of cities I visited. The rule is "places where I've slept", although I added a couple of relevant exceptions. It is a summary of my 2007 trips, including conferences and user group events I spoke at, training classes I gave, and vacation.
- Piacenza, Italy (where I live)
- Gioia Tauro (Reggio Calabria), Italy
- Rome, Italy (1 day only)
- Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (I actually slept on a plane)
- Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
- Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
- Buderim, Queensland, Australia
- Senigallia, Italy
- Albarella (Rovigo), Italy
- Verona, Italy
- Montella (Avellino), Italy
- Various Cities in the South of France (sleeping on a comping car, mostly out of cities)
- Venice, Italy (1 day only)
- Courmayeur Mont Blanc (Aosta Valley), Italy
- Frankfurt, Germany
- Chevy Chase, Maryland (nearby Washington dC, while working in Alexandria, Virginia)
- Paris, France
- Ede, Holland
That's all for this year, in which I traveled a lot of miles (and made a lot of mileage in my frequent flyer program). I doubt I'll travel as much in 2008... but you never know. For now I have trips planned to Portugal and Germany, possibly the Netherlands.
