I thought of writing individual entries, but got quite a few emails. So here is a short summary.
First of all, there are lists of Delphi applications at different sites. Two worth recommending are:
- delphi.wikia.com/wiki/Good_Quality_Applications _Built_With_Delphi
- www.embarcadero.com/rad-in-action/application-showcase
The former is a shorter list, managed independently and with some information, the latter managed by Embarcadero is very long, but I keep finding the user interface a bit hard. For example, it is not easy to figure out how many entries are there: Looks hundreds, but the infinite scrolling doesn't help much for counting. (I skipped those two links in the previous post only because I blogged them in the past, but some repetition can help).
From blog comments and emails, I got the following list:
- The Bat! Email Client http://www.ritlabs.com/en/products/thebat/ (which I personally used, and paid a license for, for many years, before moving to GMail web client).
