Next week, Jim McKeeth and David I will host a very interesting webinar on building apps for mobile devices and gadgets, covering many different platforms made available to Delphi users by the new mobile compilers. The webinar is expected to cover Google Glasses, Leap Motion input, controlling drones, home automation, barcode scanning and much more.

Make sure you register in time for this webinar taking place on January 22nd (next Wednesday), at different times of the day for the various time zones (btw, notice the Milan time zone for those in Europe). Too bad I cannot attend, given a conflicting event. Let me know how you like it!

Webinar on Programming Devices and Gadgets in Delphi

Greetings Marco,

I will register for this webinar today.

About 2-3 blogs ago, you mentioned that you would be
teaching a webinar on Androd/REST/FireDAC/Database
architecture. To date there is STILL no webinar nor
source code for this.

I am now trying to stitch to a REST server (based on
Delphi Experts REST server) with a REST client (based
on a demo, not tutorial, source from Jim McKeeth).

This should not be.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks

Any webinar that EMBT holds will be more about sales
(check out what it can do) than teaching. It would be
real nice to have a lengthy webinar held by EMBT on
one aprtivular thing - and show good examples step by
step. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN

Webinars are a mix of what our tools can do and how you achieve that in
code, We often distribute a white paper with in-depth information and
the code of the demos.
If you are looking for an in-depth class, full training or conferences, we
hosted a summer school and did an online conference (CodeRage)? There
was a ton of technical content at CodeRage, you can freely view online.
So you are wrong in saying this is not going to happen. Because it
already happened.
And many of our partners host in-depth events, teach classes, organize
seminars... only they are not free events.

Is the replay available somewhere? I planned to attend, but something
came up and I wasn't able to do so.
