Although there were blog posts in the spring about Unicode in the next version of Delphi (mostly from Allen Bauer), CodeGear developers have been quiet... until yesterday:
- Nick opened it up with the post "Here Come Tiburon", claiming that "Probably the biggest feature is Unicode"
- DavidI blogged about "Unicode database support in Tiburon" and "Tiburon's LoadFromFile and SaveToFile for Unicode characters" (where he introduces "The optional parameter named "Encoding" of class TEncoding.")
- Chirs Bensen promised "Sneak Peaks of Tiburon", starting today.
Expect way more in the coming days and weeks. I doubt I'll be able to track them all, but will certainly point out the most relevant blog entries... and possibly add my own if and when allowed.
