Today is the second day of CodeRage 8, and I'm giving two sessions on Delphi XE5, covering DataSnap and the new REST Client Library.

The DataSnap session is an overview of the available options (likely too many) in setting up DataSnap servers and clients, including some performance data about different WebBroker configurations. The session also highlights how you can combine DataSnap with other libraries, like FireDAC and the new REST Client Library.

The REST Client Library session is an introduction to this new library, giving an overview of the REST Debugger and of the 4 components in the library, and showing both desktop and mobile demos.

As usual, these are recorded sessions and I'll be online at the end of each for the live question and answer.

Speaking of CodeRage 8, yesterday was a blast. The registration and attendance numbers are extremely high (could be the highest of all time, but I'll let David I check this), which show the interest in Delphi XE5 is high... something the initial sales numbers have highlighted (as reported).

Update: Forgot to include at least a link: CodeRage 8 Main Page

PS: Sorry for not blogging last week. As you know if you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, I've been in Scotts Valley, California, for a round of morning-to-evening meetings, and had very little time. Plus I was late with CodeRage sessions...
