Delphi Day 2010 Photos

A few pictures of the Delphi Day 2010 taken by Andrea Magni.

On Picasa there is a Delphi Day 2010 album with a few pictures of the Italian Delphi event of the last week, taken by Andrea Magni.

Here are a few in a smaller size.  First row: Me and Jason Vokes (of Embarcadero Technologies), Jason with the conference intro slide, before the event started.

Second row: The audience (a good crowd of Delphi developers), Jason giving his keynote.

Third row: Paolo Rossi (one of the speakers and my co-speaker for the morning data everywhere session), Myself listening to and interviewing David I over Live Meeting

Fourth row: Fabio dell'Aria (or EurekaLog fame) in the audience, Marco Breveglieri with "fast app" TShirt (so fast that picture is not steady).

Thanks again to Andrea for the pictures, and see the Picasa page linked above for a few dozens more.

Are the delphi devs getting old?
I didn´t see young people in your photos (age, not
spirit).
I love delphi. But this is a bad trend.

Delphi Day 2010 Photos

The idea of Delphi devs getting old might actually be
a valid observation. The planned free edition should
be put on the cover of magazines like in the good old
days.

Further, we need to have an entire training series
available in video format. Complete with end-to-end
demos.

Otherwise, when we all get too old to code as hard, we
will be remembering Delphi like we do Clipper and
FoxPro.

We need mindshare restored! Most new young devs are
focused on OPensource or Visual Studio.
