Delphi 2007 for Win32 and Delphi for PHP on InfoWorld
"Two products are to be introduced, including Delphi 2007 for Win32, featuring enhanced support for Vista and AJAX, and Delphi for PHP, providing an IDE and open source VCL (visual component library) framework for PHP developers" according to the InfoWorld article by Paul Krill.
The article continues underlining the RAD and component-based nature of the new PHP IDE. The Delphi part of the article underlines the support for Vista, including Vista's Aero interface, and the development of " data-driven Web applications with rich AJAX interfaces".
The article tells us both new Delphi products will ship in March, and gives the pricing: "Delphi 2007 for Win32 costs $1,999 for the Enterprise Edition; Delphi for PHP will be available for an introductory price of $249."
At this point I'm expecting an official announcement today... and I guess you should also stay tuned to tomorrow's Delphi Hour.

Im looking forward to see these releases. And the price for the Delphi for PHP is realy good. I hope Delphi pro will have price of $500. Im am delphi programmer, but recently i get more and more involved in PHP project so this may be boost of my productivity. There is some product (in soon to be released state for a long) at http://www.qadram.com/products.php that looks like delphi for php. I Think there is a link between Qadram and Codegear. The both product look like very similar, and if you look at the different screenshots of Delphi for PHP you can see then Qadram picture inside the installation wizard of Delphi for PHP.Comment by Thierry LABORDE [] on February 20, 14:27

The Qadram QStudio and Delphi for PHP looks very much alike - if not identical. Same layout. Same interface, both look to be using some Developer Express controls. QStudio had already a VCL-like library. Did CodeGear licensed it or bought it? If so why no acknowledgment?Comment by Luigi D. Sandon on February 20, 14:43

I'm a little worried about this sentence: A new version of the company's multi-language developer tool, currently called Developer Studio, will add Vista support later this year. So with a SA you have to wait for Vista support???Comment by Eelco on February 20, 17:29
