Danny Thorpe Leaves Microsoft for a Startup

Former Delphi compiler architect Danny Thorpe has announced on his blog that he left Microsoft to go working at a startup, Cooliris.

Although this is one-week-old news, It is still worth mentioning. Former Delphi compiler architect Danny Thorpe has announced on his (msft) blog that he left Microsoft to go working at a well-financed startup, Cooliris. He's not the only person leaving Microsoft, according to this post. There is also a non-tech newsgroup thread, of course. His personal site is quite out-of-date.Oddly enough, his facebook page says his job title is "Surveyor".

I wish all the best to Danny (as I did over private email) and will be curious to see what this company is up to... anything but browser plug-ins? They must be terrific!
