Bauer: "Quite frankly, the overall adoption of .NET among all Windows developers has not been as fast as originally predicted." Well, Java had already shown it. Only CEO and VPs could believe developer would have started to cry ".NET is here! Let's throw away all this fast native code and rewrite everything". Only they did - and ended up with the crappiest Delphi IDE ever. "Many rich client applications are still best served by high-performance natively compiled solutions."
