Today Embarcadero released Delphi 13.1 Florence, along with RAD Studio 13.1 and C++Builder 13.1
As you can read in the official announcement blog post at https://blogs.embarcadero.com/announcing-the-availability-of-rad-studio-13-florence-update-1/, Embarcadero has released a new version of RAD Studio, Delphi and C++Builder. The top new feature is the addition of a Delphi native Windows on Arm compiler, based on the LLVM toolchain.
You can read more at the Embarcadero Web Site page for RAD Studio 13.1, https://www.embarcadero.com/products/rad-studio/whats-new-in-13-florence and in the detailed What’s New in 13.1 page in DocWiki at https://docwiki.embarcadero.com/RADStudio/Florence/en/13_Florence_-_Release_1.
The doc wiki also includes a list of the publicly reported bugs fixed in DocWiki at
https://docwiki.embarcadero.com/RADStudio/Florence/en/New_features_and_customer_reported_issues_fixed_in_RAD_Studio_13.1
That's all for now. I'm very excited for this release and very happy to have one more target platform and one more Delphi compiler in the box. Hope you'll like it.

Thank you for Windows on ARM!
Hello,
thank you very much for adding the new target! Customers start
asking for it, and I am happy to order my first ARM64 Windows 11
notebook for testing.
Cheers,
Tobias

Delphi 13.1 in Windows Server 2025
Hi Marco. I've been trying to install RAD Studio 13.1 on
Windows Server 2025 (24H2 26100.32522) all weekend and
haven't been able to. During the RAD Studio installation, I keep
getting the same Java error:
"This Application has Unexpectedly Quit: Invocation of this Java
Application has caused an InvocationTargetException. This
application will not exit (LAX)." It doesn't show any further details
and just says to close the error window to continue the installation.
However, Interbase 15 isn't installing.
I've tried the following:
0. Run the installer as administrator.
1. Completely disable all Windows Defender restrictions.
2. Download and install Temurin 21.0.10+7-LTS beforehand, since
the RAD Studio installer complains that Java isn't already
installed.
3. Disable User Account Control (UAC).
I've tried the following: 4. I verified that the key
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControl
Set\Control\FileSystem\NtfsDisable8dot3NameCreation has a
value of 2.
5. I verified that the environment variables are correctly defined.
JAVA_HOME = C:\Program Files\Eclipse Adoptium\jdk-
21.0.10.7-hotspot\
Path = C:\Program Files\Eclipse Adoptium\jdk-21.0.10.7-
hotspot\bin
6. I disabled IE Enhanced Security Configuration in Server
Manager.
7. Exploit Protection options are disabled.
If I install Java from
https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads/, the
problem persists, even if I install version 25.0.2.
I have no option to install Rad Studio on Windows 11.
Thanks
