Delphi is going to have it's 30th anniversary in two weeks, on February 14th. It's a big milestone for a software product still in full swing and actively developed and used today by hundreds of thousands of developers around the entire world.
In preparation for the event Embarcadero is running a great 30x30 webinar series, feel free to take a look at https://learndelphi.org/delphi-30-for-30-webinars-2025/. The company is also offering special discount offers, see https://www.embarcadero.com/radoffer.
I want to start celebrating by sharing in this blog post the slides I created for a short, remote session I did for our Japan team this week. The focus was celebrating the past (and I did a short demo of Delphi 1, more on in a future blog post), but also highlighting how the core value proposition of Delphi still exists today, and native compiled applications with great UIs and database connectivity can still make developers very productive, as it was true in the early days.
