Peter, that is correct. We found an issue in the document, so we
pulled it down and are updating it. It will be back shortly.

How can I get Kanopka VCL controls for delphi 10.2

Delphi 10.2 has been Released Today
I am already using Delphi 10.1 Update 2 for Pascal Windows
Desktop Development, no hi-res monitor, and using a non-
Embarcadero DB (Nexus). Looking at the features matrix, this update
seems essentially focused on Linux, C++ and Phone apps. Taking into
account the trauma of migrating all components and repairing my
PATH environment variable which is destroyed by the installer,
should I just sit this one out ?

Delphi 10.2 has been Released Today
Hi Marco - Can you outline what this change was: "enhancements
to the Windows version of TWebBrowser"?
I have a Firemonkey app with a TWebBrowser - which used to
work in both 32 bit and 64 bit compile on Windows 10 (under
10.1.2 Berlin), but now I get an AV when I close the window
(only on 32 bit).
Would like to know if this is due to something in the Tokyo
Update...
Best,
Rohit

Delphi 10.2 is super slow under android
Great job about tokyo (multi-thread bitmap and merge of delphi
mainthread with android UI tread), but unfortunately delphi don't
work anymore under android ! app are now super (super) slow (i m
not the only one to say this, already several people report it in the
forum).
https://quality.embarcadero.com/browse/RSP-17162
you must provide a fix asap, before the update 1 because this
problem is right now a "blocker". as i see the
plateform.android.pas was totally refactored, but new version don't
work and maybe you need to do a regression ?

Seems all the tickets mentioned as fixed in the

status "Open" and resolution "Unresolved". Why so?

Delphi 10.2 has been Released Today
Well, I owe you a few answers, sorry for the single long reply...
Ray, BiDi support in FMX is still not available
FatihY, I disagree that the issue is a blocker for most customers, there
is a workaround published in the bug report, but it is still high on our
fix list
Dave, 10.2 and a new interface-incompatible release from 10.1.x, so
new DCU format and new third party controls
Andrew, C++ rename refactoring is still on hold, we keep finding
critical bugs in it, not ready to ship
Karim, Konopka VCL controls for 10.2 Tokyo should be available
shortly
Olivier, while there are many fixes and smaller enhancements in the
product also for your scenario, I cannot judge if it is worth your effort
in updating components...
Fritz, there are Google Store apps build with Delphi and with FMX. I
built one... I remember some old blog post with a list, possibly on
Delphi Wikia. We do publish case studies, occasionally.
Rohit, FireMonkey TWebBrowser gained access to more underlying
interfaces of the controls and fixes in memory leaks -- maybe one of
these fixes is in fact causing trouble
Delphi-r, not the experience most people had installing, myself
included. Hard to say...
HelloCs, IoT components are coming to GetIt, there is some finishing
work to be done. I'll look into Beyond Compare, you are right is
seems to be missing
Claudio, we are adding some Premium Styles
Patrik, updated roadmap is coming soon
Jhonny, you can install separate SDKs on the IDE, if you want, but it
should not be required
Edmar, we will backport a few fixes to Berlin, but only if we have a
clear specific fix. IDE improvements are generally the result of many
changes, hard to backport
Loki, issues with animation on Android are being investigated.
Probably related with the changes in threading model.
Andreas, we'll be synchronizing the Tokyo fixes with the public QP
portal in the coming days, work has started, but requires manual
intervention in many cases

Hi Marco,
Our android application works 7x24 on device but this bug is causing
the application to fail.

Delphi 10.2 has been Released Today
Hi Marco,
We too have a major problem with rendering on
Android with Tokyo!!!
We have a large application which works perfectly
on Android and iOS in Berlin but doesn't work at all
on Android with Tokyo. The app freezes when
drawing but tapping the screen several times
sometimes makes it draw. That said even when it
draws many areas of the screen are drawn
incorrectly.
This is a show stopper for us and we've wasted 2
days trying to debug it before we came across other
people who had similar issues.
I think it's important to be upfront and clear with
customers and notify them when there are issues
with a release just so that they don't waste many
hours trying to work out what the hell is going on
when its actually a bug.
Do you have any timescales for this fix?

Delphi 10.2 has been Released Today
Android painting issues are being investigated. We didn't saw them in
our testing, and they were not reported by beta customers, which is
the reasons we didn't include them in release notes or didn't warn our
customers about them. We'll keep you up-to-date with the solution. if
you have specific code snippets that fail, feel free to report them or
add to an existing report -- the more specific demos showing failure
we have the more likely a solution will be far reaching and complete.
