There is a hotfix for Delphi and C++Builder XE7 Update 1, related with a resizing bug in FireMonkey controls. The hotfix is available at cc.embarcadero.com/item/30070 and must be applied on the Update 1 version of XE7, not the original release (which didn't have the issue, by the way). The problem is due to the fact that in some scenarios, the controls fail to issue a repaint request.
The hotfix resolves a few "apparently" unrelated issues, from TViewport3D problems (quality.embarcadero.com/browse/RSP-9732) to a repainting issue in the new Radiant Shapes components (www.raize.com/DevTools/RadiantShapes/Default.asp). If you are using FireMonkey, on any platform, applying the fix is recommended.

Hotfix for FireMonkey Controls Resize Issue
The cc item does not state that it only applies to
XE7 WITH Update 1. It does, in fact, only talk
about " RAD Studio XE7". Also, the installer will
happily boot up for my installation of XE7 WITHOUT
Update 1.
Can you tell the guys who maintain the download page
that a note/warning should be added to the
description?

Hotfix for FireMonkey Controls Resize Issue
Hi Marco,
nice to see that some bugfixes are released earlier
than 2-3 month update cycle. All (mobile) development
is moving so fast so we need bugfixes as soon as
possible. A hotfix is a good solution for that!
I hope the next hotfix contains fixes for memleaks on
MacOS as reported in RSP-9722, RSP-9723, RSP-9726,
RSP-9742 and RSP-9796
Best regards
Dirk
