Embarcadero Technologies has announced a "mobile" version of CodeRage, the online technical conference generally taking place in the fall. Two days packed with Delphi for iOS content on June 18th and 19th. The website with all information is:

http://www.embarcadero.com/coderage

As you can see in the conference program, all of the sessions are technical in nature and provide practical examples of iOS applications built with Delphi XE4. From the language to the FireMonkey framework, from UI guidelines to AppStore submission, from discovering third party components to using native device sensors, the conference is packed with content over two days of sessions.

Each sessions (most of which will be pre-recorded) will have a Q&A session, so that you'll learn but also be able to interact with the speaker. Social networks, blogs, and newsgroups will provide further interaction over those two days. The official Twitter account for the event is  @RADtools and the suggested tag is #coderage.

Personally, I'm signed up to give 4 sessions (2 long ones and 2 short ones):

  • The Delphi Language for Mobile Development
  • Building Mobile Master/Detail Database Application with FireDAC and IBLite/IBToGo
  • Integrating RSS Feeds into your iOS Applications
  • Migrating your Windows VCL applications to iOS

The list of Embarcadero and external speakers includes a lots of Delphi experts and developers, and the topics covered are quite broad. Whether you already started building iOS applications with Delphi, or you intend to start soon, or you are just interested in learning the technologies will soon make available for Android, this is a great conference to attend. And it is free, no travel costs, just hook up your computer and spend time online learning about the present and the future of Delphi.
