Italy Wins FIFA World Cup

Another non-Delphi post... well deserved.

Italy has won the World Cup in Berlin, defeating France at the final penalties. Having lost agains Brasil 12 years ago (in the US) in a similar way... we could not be more happy. I still remember the 1982 final we won against Germany, but right now this seems the best victory. The entire country is cheering and crows have taken the streets to celebrate. Bye, bye, France.

Congratulations ITALY.

We'll see you 2010 in South Africa and maybe will
beat you for the first time in a world cup. If not,
hopefully you'll win again ;-)
