InterBase 2009 Launched (And Delphi 2009 Shipping)
Embarcadero today launched InterBase 2009 and started shipping Delphi 2009.
Embarcadero today launched InterBase 2009. You can read the announcement here or check the official InterBase web site for more details. The most notable new feature is encryption support.
At the same time, according to Bob Swart, the company started shipping Delphi 2009. Product shipping and book not ready, sigh. But this is a great time for Delphi, with a very significant new version available. And the fact they took a few more days certainly means they wanted to make it more solid...

Great news, finally the long awaited version is out Embarcadero should expand the delphi users with a big commertial campain to promote Delphi and say to the world this is a great product and it is reliable. also I hope that they upgrade kylix , so delphi would become really cross platfrom IDE.Comment by Ahmed [http://www.hasooob.net] on September 9, 07:20
