I'm organizing with Cary Jensen a two days / two cities event called Delphi Developer Days for the spring 2009 in the US. There is a 25% discount if you register before the end of the year (that is, right away!). Info on the previous link, which is http://www.delphideveloperdays.com.

The event will be near Washington DC and Chicago, respectively at the end of March and the beginning of April. Althuogh the detailed agenda is not available yet, we certainly plan to cover both Delphi Win32 and Delphi Prism, cover new features for those who use the latest version of the product, but also some foundation elements useful for those working with older versions. We'll cover lots of database material, Vista support, detail the various language extensions, cover Unicode, and also offer open Q&A sessions and joint sessions in which we'll bring forward our different experiences with the product. The event will be packed of information, but also open to debating specific issues you are facing, both technical and architectural.

I've been thiking of getting back to the US for some public classes (after some experiences years ago) and tried several times to do something with Cary, a friend I regularly meet at conference in Europe (after US events have disappeared) and once even invited to talk in Piacenza. This looks like a very nice opportunity for us to work together and for attendees to get us both at a single event.

If you live outside of the US, booking a flight early would also mean a reduced travel cost. For my own trip, I'm sitting on a couple of options below 500 Eur for the return trip to the US, all included. Finally, if you have a company in either areas are are interested in having me there for a day of consulting, or are a local user group interested in an evening presentation, let me know ASAP, while the trip is not finalized.

PS. If you are a Delphi tools vendor and are interested in sponsoring the event or even attending it, let us know.
