My Copies of Mastering Borland Delphi 2005

I finally got the author copies of my last book.

Two days ago I finally got the author copies of my last book, Mastering Borland Delphi 2005, delivered at my home, in Italy. I used to get a few advanced copies of my book before people could buy it, this time I had to wait almost a month since the book become avaialble on Amazon and other virtual and physical outlets. The fact I live abroad probably caused most of the delay.
In any case, I really like a lot to keep in my hands a new book I've written for the first time, and this time it even has a distinctively different cover, after so many editions in which it didn't change much. And I have to say I really like it. Sad it was the last Sybex cover for my book series, as the company was bought by Wiley last June, after the book was ready.
What else? I haven't browsed it looking for errors, yet. But I'll do it as soon as I get feedback from readers and translators. And will post updated information on my web site. My plan is to make available a Delphi DeXter chapter as soon as the new product ships and I've had time to study it. I have also plans for other ebooks, but I'll blog about this in the coming weeks. With the limited amount of Delphi 2005 books out (exaclty 1, mine, AFAIK) I keep wondering if people are willing to pay a little for a good quality ebook or it has to be for free... in which case I'm not sure I'll be able to find enough time to write it

I'll be waiting for my copy of your book. I think it
will be a very good one, as usual in your books.
:D

As for your e-Book: I'll be willing to pay for it,
definitely! I will have to order your most recent
book though, first.

As for being the "only" Delphi 2005 book, there are
a few on the German market, I know of three. Though
none are nearly as good as yours are Xaviers have
been. ;-)

Kind regards,
Daniel

 Hi Marco,
I have received the book even before you did. It worth
every penny I paid for it. Thank you.

About paid ebooks: I personally would pay for a nice
ebook, especially, since there is no many books or
publications on delphi 2005. You mentioned delphi
power book, in appendix, and i found interesting
topics in its contents. But it seems the book is still
not ready, as I couldn't find it on your website. I
think many people would pay for it, if you sell it in
the margin of 10-15 USD.

All The best.
