As I already blogged about (Essential Delphi New Edition, the First Chapter) I'm working on a new introductory book to Delphi starting with a good coverage of the IDE. For now 3 chapter are ready covering:

- an introduction

- a tour of the IDE and an articulated analysis of its main menu

- detailed information about designers (form designer in particular)

You can find the material in a new download at:

Next I'll have a chapter covering the editor, following by refactoring and other related tools. Hope this is useful, I'm sure even long time users can find something they didn't know about, but the focus is clearly more on new developers.

Feedback is welcome here or over email.
